My New Toys

I did some damage today at REI, in preparation for my upcoming trips. It also happened to be the annual Garage Sale, where you can pick up practically new gear for deep discounts. I picked up a portable solar panel charger from High Gear for over half off. Could be fun. I grabbed a new bomb-proof duffel bag (North Face Base Camp), Keen Sandals and a SPOT II messenger. All cool things I needed, but my wallet feels much lighter. Hopefully nothing else major is required anytime soon. Off to learn how to use this stuff...
